Inauguration programme on the eve of 67th Wildlife Week:
Inaugration of 67th wildlife week with the theme “conserve fresh water fauna for pure water” at Anthrasanthe wildlife range in the presence of Sri. Umesh V Katti, Hon’ble Forest Minister, GoK & Sri. Anil Chikkamadu, MLA H.D Kote (Mysore) .
On this occasion, the dignitaries launched the upgraded Website cum Online ticket reservation system www.nagaraholetigerreserve.com and launch of Software applications: Gasthu 2.0 Fine collection system for violations on roads passing through tiger reserve & Safari Vehicles tracking system to monitor the safari vehicles in compliance with NTCA guidelines.
Inauguration of Camp Office & Orchidarium at Kakanakote Safari Center (Kabini) and Release of Photo Album of ‘Tigers of Nagarahole’ ,136 Tigers camera trapped in the phase IV monitoring exercise .

On the occasion of 67th Wildlife Week 2021, and “India for Tigers – Rally on Wheels” Nagarahole Tiger Reserve heralded the event of receiving the flag of NTCA from BRT tiger reserve in the presence of hon’ble MLA Manjunath .H.P (President of the function), Shri.D.Mahesh kumar (IFS), Director,Nagarahole Tiger Reserve, Dr. Prashanth kumar, IFS, DCF, Hunsur Forest Division, Dr.Santosh kumar IFS ,Director, BRT Tiger reserve, Shri.Devappa Nayaka, President, Hunsur Town Municipal Council in the premises of division office .

Quiz competition was organized for the students of Government schools of fringe villages of Nagrahole Tiger Reserve with the aim of apprising the value of WILDLIFE.

Closing ceremony of the 67th wildlife week was held at Adhichunchanagiri Kalyana Mantapa ,Hunsur.The winners of the contests of wildlife week and the volunteers serving the department were felicitated by the dignitaries of the occasion. Cultural programme was also organized to create awareness on the importance of wildlife .
